Eligibility for Recognition
Before an organisation can be recognised
Completing an assessment does not automatically result in an award. The organisation must address the identified gaps and demonstrate that the applicable standard has been met.

What you receive
Recognition that can be verified
Successful recognition creates a public SCPMI record. Each record identifies the organisation, recognition held, applicable level where used, award date, validity date, current status and public award reference.
Continued recognition
Recognition remainsconnected to evidence
Organisational recognition is valid only until the date published in the award record. Continued recognition requires the organisation to maintain its capability and complete the applicable renewal process.
Published Validity
The public register shows the date until which the recognition remains valid.
Ongoing Evidence
The organisation remains responsible for maintaining the recognised capability and supporting evidence.
Renewal
Reassessment and independent verification follow the applicable SCPMI renewal policy before recognition expires.

The identified priority gaps have to be corrected, documented evidence prepared, and the applicable published standard met and independently audited first.
Because recognition is only as credible as the evidence behind it. SCPMI does not consult on organisations it later audits, so the review applies the same published standard regardless of who led the improvement work.
