Security

Members trust SCPMI with their profiles and with the certifications that support their careers. We treat the security of the website, member accounts and credential records as part of running the institute, and we review our safeguards as the platform grows.

Use a strong password that you do not use anywhere else, and do not share it with anyone, including colleagues. Sign out when you use a shared or public device.

If you believe someone else has used your account, change your password and tell SCPMI promptly, as the Terms of Membership ask.

We limit access to member data to the people who need it to run the service, protect information as it travels between your browser and SCPMI, and keep credential records so that certifications cannot be altered by anyone other than SCPMI.

If you think you have found a security weakness in the website or member area, please report it through SCPMI's published contact channels with enough detail for us to reproduce it.

Please give us a reasonable chance to fix the issue before sharing it publicly, and do not access, change or delete other members' data while investigating.

SCPMI will never ask for your password by email, message or phone. If you receive a message claiming to be from SCPMI that asks for your password or payment details, do not respond, and let SCPMI know through its published contact channels.
